ProofIt helps users fact-check selected visible text, screenshots, images, captions, and online claims.
ProofIt uses Android AccessibilityService API only for the optional Floating P reader feature after user consent. It reads selected visible screen text only when the user starts a scan. ProofIt does not read passwords, keystrokes, banking information, payment fields, hidden background content, or control the device.
